How To Build An End Portal In Creative Mode
We will build our final Minecraft portal by first creating the frame with the 12 ender eyes and the 12 portal frame blocks.
1. Build The End Portal Frame
Choose where you want to make the last portal and place 3 frames from the last portal to make the first side.
Then stay in the same spot, turn right (or left, it doesn’t matter) and place 3 last portal frames to complete the second side.
Turn again and place 3 more end frames for the third side. Finally, turn again and place the last 3 end portal frames to complete the 4 sides of the frame.
Make sure the green tabs on the end portal frames are facing the center of the frame. If they are not pointing to the center, the portal will not activate.
2. Add The Eye of Ender
While we are still in the center of the portal frame, we now need to add the 12 ender eyes.
Place 11 Ender’s Eyes in each of the blocks in the last portal frame. Be careful not to add the latter while standing on the frame or it will fall immediately when the portal is activated.
So exit the portal and add the last ender eyes to the end gate frame block. The portal is activated when the center of the portal frame resembles the room.
Now you can go to the End and battle the Ender Dragon!

3. How do you make an end portal?
You can make an End Portal in “Minecraft” by adding twelve Eyes of Ender to a broken portal. In Survival mode, broken End Portals can be found in underground strongholds scattered across the world. If you’re playing in “Minecraft’s” Creative Mode, you can build an entire End Portal in seconds.
4. Why is the end portal not working?
One of the main reasons why the end portal doesn’t work right for a lot of players is because they don’t exactly create it the right way. … You have to ensure that you’re standing ”inside” the portal as you’re creating it, otherwise, it is highly unlikely that it will work.
5. What are the end portal blocks called?
The block entity ID of the end portal block has been changed from AirPortal to end_portal. The starfield effect has been changed to match that of the end gateway block.
6. Where is the end portal in Minecraft?
End portals are found within the portal room of a stronghold, hanging horizontally over a pool of lava, with a staircase leading up to the portal. A silverfish spawner sits on the staircase. Each individual end portal frame block has a 10% chance of containing an eye of ender, as determined by the world seed.
