2. Add The Grindstone Items To The Menu
On the drawing area, add the 2 plates, 2 sticks and the stone slab to the grid. You can use any type of plank, including oak, pine, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, crimson, or warped planks. In this tutorial we will use oak planks.
You need to add the items to the grid exactly as shown in the image below. In the first row, place 1 stick in the first square, 1 stone slab in the second square and 1 stick in the third square. In the second row, place 1 wooden plank in the first box and 1 wooden plank in the third box. This is the Minecraft whetstone recipe.
After you’ve added the items to the crafting grid as described above, you’ll see the whetstone in the box on the right.

2. How do you make a grindstone in Minecraft?
To make a grindstone, place 2 sticks, 1 stone slab and 2 wood planks in the 3×3 crafting grid. When crafting with wood planks, you can use any kind of wood planks, such as oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, crimson, or warped planks.
