Steps To Make A Smithing Table

1. Open Your Crafting Menu

To make a blacksmith table, you must first open your work table in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.

2. Add The Smithing Table Items To The Menu

On the workbench, add the 4 shelves and the 2 iron blocks to the grid. You can use any type of plank, including oak, pine, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, crimson, or warped planks. In this tutorial we will use oak planks.

You need to add the items to the grid exactly as shown in the image below. In the 1st row, place 1 iron rod in the 1st box and 1 iron rod in the 2nd box. In the second row, place 1 wooden plank in the first box and 1 wooden plank in the second box. In the third row, place 1 wooden plank in the first box and 1 wooden plank in the second box. This is the recipe for the Minecraft forge table.

After you’ve added the items to the crafting grid as described above, you’ll see the forge card in the box on the right.

3. Move The Smithing Table To Your Inventory

Finally, drag the forge table to your inventory so you can use it.
