Materials Needed To Create Stairs

You can make stairs using any type of wood, stone, brick, etc for a total of 31 different types of stairs. You just have to use 6 of the same type of material, for example, if you want to make oak stairs you would use 6 oak wood blocks.

Steps To Make Minecraft Stairs

1. Open Your Crafting Menu

To create stairs, you must first open your worktable in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as the image below

2. Add The Stair Ingredients To The Menu

Add the items to the grid in the craft table.

You need to add the items to the grid using the same pattern as in the image below. In this example we are going to make oak stairs.
