- 2 planks, cobblestones, iron ingots, gold ingots, OR diamonds
Steps To Craft A Sword
1. Open Your Crafting Menu
First, let’s open your creation menu in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.
2. Add Items To The Crafting Table
On the craft table, add stick 1 and, depending on the type of sword you want to make, add the 2 planks, cobblestones, iron bars, gold bars or diamonds to the grid.
You need to add each item to the crafting grid exactly as shown in the image below. In this example we are going to make a diamond sword.
In the 1st row, place 1 diamond in the middle square. In the second row, place 1 diamond in the center square. In the third row, place 1 stick in the middle square. This is the recipe for the Minecraft diamond sword. If you want to make a different type of sword, just replace the diamonds with planks, cobblestones, iron bars, or gold bars, depending on the type of sword you want to make.
Now that you’ve added the items to the crafting grid as described above, you’ll see a diamond sword in the box on the right.
3. Move The Sword To Your Inventory
Just drag the sword to your inventory so you can use it.
