Required To Make A Hot Tub

In our hot tub tutorial example, we will need the following supplies:

8 blocks of soul sand
1 block of magma
Water
Optional: 16 iron blocks

Steps To Build A Hot Tub

1. Dig A Hole

To start building our hot tub, we will first need to dig a hole in the ground. In our example, we are going to dig a 3 block x 3 block hole. Make sure to dig 2 blocks deep.

2. Lay The Foundation

Place 8 core sand blocks in the hole, essentially creating a core sand floor in the hole you dug. Leave the center block blank.

Place a block of magma in the empty center.

3. Fill With Water

Then select your bucket of water on your Hotbar and fill the hole with water.

Now you have a bubble bath that works! It should start bubbling and when you enter the tub your player will begin to move up and down.

Optionally, we can fix it to make it look a little better, which we’ll do in the next step.

4. Decorate The Perimeter

In our example, we are going to add the 16 iron blocks around the perimeter of our hot tub to give it a more modern look.
