How To Build An End Portal In Creative Mode

We will build our final Minecraft portal by first creating the frame with the 12 ender eyes and the 12 portal frame blocks.

1. Build The End Portal Frame

Choose where you want to make the last portal and place 3 frames from the last portal to make the first side.

Then stay in the same spot, turn right (or left, it doesn’t matter) and place 3 last portal frames to complete the second side.

Turn again and place 3 more end frames for the third side. Finally, turn again and place the last 3 end portal frames to complete the 4 sides of the frame.

Make sure the green tabs on the end portal frames are facing the center of the frame. If they are not pointing to the center, the portal will not activate.

2. Add The Eye of Ender

While we are still in the center of the portal frame, we now need to add the 12 ender eyes.

Place 11 Ender’s Eyes in each of the blocks in the last portal frame. Be careful not to add the latter while standing on the frame or it will fall immediately when the portal is activated.
